Future Forum, chaired by Rep. Darren Soto (D-FL), was originally founded in 2015 by Rep. Eric Swallwell. Today, Future Forum has doubled in size to nearly 50 members in the 116th Congress. Since its inception, Future Forum has visited more than 50 cities and met with thousands of young people where they live, work, and go to school. Members have used feedback collected from these listening sessions to introduce legislation on issues such as gun violence, student loan debt, and entrepreneurship.
Future Forum focuses on engaging young Americans bridging the divide between young Americans and their government, and inspire the next generation of leaders.
Future Forum is chaired by Rep. Darren Soto (D-FL) and vice-chaired by Reps. Colin Allred (D-TX) and Haley Stevens (D-MI). Rep. Stephanie Murphy serves as Chair Emeritus.
